It'd been more humourous had Anakin said to his annoying tagalong Ahsoka "Oh Crud! Our emergency rations have run out except for two loaves of bread! I wonder what Hutt meat tastes like?" and takes his lightsabre to the Hutt child with a "We can always tell Jabba that he died in the crash."
